A Nomadic School for Song, Dance and the Metaphysical Arts

We choose to keep our address private and share it on a need-to-know basis.

This practice has been cultivated on the traditional land of the Musqueam, Sto:lo, Tsleil Waututh, Squamish, Kanien’kehá:ka, Haudenosaunee, and Anishanaabe Nations. Like many others around the world, I grew up on land that was colonized and continues to be occupied. Presently, the first people to this land continue to defend their traditions and relationship to the land. We are here today through a combination of intersecting circumstances: as descendants of settlers, immigrants who came here forcedly or by choice, descendants of people indigenous to this land or a mixture of these circumstances within our own bloodlines.

It is important to acknowledge the violence and trauma of colonization - not only its material, but its spiritual repercussions on the bodies of marginalized people, especially those indigenous to occupied land. Whatever circumstance may be yours, I invite you into dialogue with the land and waters that have nourished your body and the stewards who continue to protect these precious resources.

For those planning their trip to our studio, we are located up 5 flights of stairs between Champ-de-Mars and Berri-Uquam metro stations.
